Narrow width Slitter with 4-tier Rewind

Independent Machine Company has developed another in a series of precision slitters with 4-tier rewind for slitting high quality films into exceptionally narrow widths. The machine is capable of several slitting and rewinding options including slitting down to 1.5mm and rewinding onto dedicated reels.

The cantilevered unwind includes auto edge guiding and programmable constant tension. The exclusive IMC interchangeable shear slitting assembly is equipped with a wide range of tooling with slit accuracy to within .0002". Entry and exit "S" wrap pull roll sections provide adjustable "draw" control during slitting and 3 zone tension isolation throughout the machine.

Other features include Allen-Bradley PLC, pendant mounted Touchscreen operator controls with data accumulation and recipe storage, vacuum edge trim removal, static dissipation capability and a multi drive system with a speed range to 500 FPM.
