| The slitter includes a cantilevered unwind with programmable constant tension, auto edge guide, adjustable "peel" off roll, entry & exit "S" wrap pull rolls and the exclusive IMC interchangeable slitting assemblies for shear, score and razor slittting. A free standing liner rewind will take up the liner as the unwind pays out the material.
Each cantilevered Smartwinder-2000™ position operates completely independent of all other positions and has a computerized, fully adjustable, servo driven assembly that will vary pitch, traverse stroke length and end dwell and is capable of a wide range of winding patterns. Precise adjustable rewind tension is speed controlled by an independent closed loop follower drive system through the exclusive IMC Dancer/Tension controller assembly with a 50:1 tension range and diameter measurement. The operator Touchscreen has recipe storage capability for setting all machine function adjustments.
Smartwinder-2000™ takes the work out of converting with its easy to use recipe storage, information downloading and precise tension control. Each module increases production by virtually eliminating operator error and set-up downtime to produce perfect spools of exceptional length.
