| The cantilevered system can be used to laminate a wide range of tension sensitive film and nonwovens with a speed range to 1200 FPM.
The system includes bi-directional driven, auto edge guided primary and secondary unwinds each capable of 30" diameter rolls secured on cantilevered air shafts with closed loop tension control. The maximum 30" diameter rewind also has auto edge guiding, programmable taper tension, pneumatic double pass layon roll for bi-directional winding. Other features of the 4 drive system include water cooled backing roll, pneumatic laminating nip, 16" diameter driven chill roll, Allen-Bradley PLC with Touchscreen operator controls and recipe storage.
The slot die is mounted on a 3 axis bracket for precision positioning and the spray head is mounted on a rail assembly that may be moved across a 10 ft. length. The 3 stage hot melt delivery system has 250 lb. capacity.
