| 64" Wide Turret Rewind with Auto Cut & Transfer for Prepreg | |||
| IMC has developed a 64" wide turret rewind with auto cut and transfer to operate in-line with an existing Prepreg process at variable speed while maintaining a set tension programmable constant to 50% taper. Each rewind position is capable of winding maximum 16" diameter rolls of graphite, fiberglass and aramid impregnated cloth with a separate liner wound onto 3" ID cores. |

| A proprietary pneumatic actuated rotary cross cut knife severs the web during the auto cut and transfer sequence. A pneumatic loaded dancer provides sufficient material storage to maintain process speed and programmable web tension during the sequence. The turret index positions the empty core into the proper winding position as the cut and transfer sequence is initiated.
Other features include ultra sonic diameter measurement, spreader roll, AC flux vector drives, machine mounted operator control panel, Allen-Bradley PLC and appropriate guarding. |
