1-Position Traverse Winder with Turntable Unwind

IMC has developed another variation of its standard Model 101 Single Position Traverse Winder for spooling vulcanized fiber. Because the 36" diameter supply roll is heavy and coreless a stainless steel turntable with layon roll and product nip was developed to unwind the material under controlled, adjustable, tension. The unwind will accommodate a wide range of widths, weights and materials.

The table mounted single position traverse winder is equipped with a cantilevered air shaft, pneumatic actuated layon roll, tension isolation nip, resettable footage counter, dial adjustable traverse assembly with stroke length (4" -16"), pitch (.250"- 1.250") and end dwell (0-360 deg.). Product guides are mounted on a "quick release" axel for slit width changes. The DC drive has a speed range to 1000 FPM with constant velocity circuitry.
