We build our own slitting equipment to complement our winders and ensure maximum system efficiency and simplified integration. In addition, our slitting systems are flexible and usually allow for future growth. The slitters are normally supplied wider than initially required, and an auxiliary rewind gives you the option to run a wider supply roll and spool the slit strands while simultaneously rewinding the unslit portion of the web which then becomes a supply roll.     IMC's exclusive interchangeable "drop-in" slitting heads for shear, score, razor, or special die slitting make changeovers easy. The Slitter can be equipped with a traversing take-up or a vacuum system for edge trim removal.
